Get help using Construct 2

Hi!

I was wondering if anyone can help me with this. I have an object when if the player runs into it, it boosts your speed. For now, when the player runs into a wall its "supposed" to detect a wall and reset your max speed to normal, but its hit or miss. I have a solid wall but the max speed boost is still higher.

Tried the "when player is on floor" platform action, thing is you'd have to jump on top of the object (instead of running into) to re apply the speed boost.

Any ideas to fix this would be very helpful, thanks!

Heh, sorry I forgot to post a capx, but I resolved the issue by messing around with overlapping objects instead of collision and it works!
