Sony Tablet Android

Get help using Construct 2

Hi i had my 1st go at creating a simple touch game for android on my sony tablet, are there any tips for increasing speed, and what screen seetings should be used in C2 before exporting, is it full/cropped..? as it runs very slow.

Yes, the performance on a tablet, as far as I have tried, are not very good.

Some pointers I have come across when testing against a Android tablet is the smaller textures size you have, the better. I think a smaller window size is also better for the performance.

It's weird why iPhone 4 went good performance for my simple physic game, but iPad was not good...

Have you read the manual entry on performance tips and applied those already?

Yeh the games is a simple one where a set of spawn points randomly spawn a ball at random times, thats it, oh and a background which isn't high res. Maybe it's because i gave the ball physics and the world gravity.

I would have thought the Sony Tablet was more than enough cosidering what it can play, but i do realise it's newish to mobile devices and will take a bit of time to get faster, It's just it's unplayable, i'll try some other things to speed it up.tonycrew2012-04-20 21:02:41
