Spawn object bug
Spawned object is spawned too far away from image point

Description of Capx
A typical platform game

Steps to Reproduce Bug
  • Step 1: While player is at the begining press spacebar to fire a bullet
  • Step 2: Move player to the right with arrows
  • Step 3: Fire again a bullet. As far on the right is player so far the bullet is being spawned.

Observed Result
If player is far right at level the spawned bullet is going spawned far too

Expected Result
I expect the spawned bullet to be spawned from the image point it is set.

Affected Browsers
  • Chrome: (YES)
  • FireFox: (YES)

You are spawning on Layer 0, which has a different parallax than your other layers. Spawn on the Player layer.

There is no bug , you are spawning the bullet on your background layer which has a different parallax setting , i changed it to spawn on the same layer as player and all is well . also you need to change bullet angle when shooting from right side to make everything work right.....perhaps a little more time with the manual !
What I know would fill a Book , what I don't know would fill a Library

Yeah looks like the parallex is causing the fireball to move differently. Spawn them on same layer as the player
