sprite issue

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Mon Sep 30, 2013 4:41 pm

Hi All! I'm new to construct2, but I love it so far!

I'm having an issue with a sprite I made as a monster. When I add it into our game it looks fine, but when I try to make it move towards my player sprite using "set angle towards position" player.x, player.y it flips my sprite over and makes him face away. However, the sprite does move correctly towards the player. It just messed up the graphic. Any ideas on what's causing this? Is there a better way to move a monster towards a player?

Thanks!

Is your monster facing towards the right in the image editor? That's the forward direction. It sounds like your sprite might be facing backwards.

How do I post my capx? I checked the sprite and reversed it to face to the right but when I'm behind it still stands on it's head and faces the opposite way lol.

Thanks!
