Sprite Origin (for mouse behavior)

For questions about using Classic.

Post » Wed Jan 20, 2010 4:22 am

Hello there,

I've been searching the web (using Google) and this forum using the search form, but i couldnt find a clear answer on my (probably stupid) question about sprites.

I'm trying to connect a sprite to the cursor position. Everything goes well except that the sprite has its origin at the X and Y center. I want it to be x 0 and y 0 so the mouse pointer is on the correct position.

Is there any way i can do this? Thank you!

In the image editor, there's a button on the left that has a red crosshair on it which will allow you to change the position of the hotspot/origin. You can then place it wherever you want with the mouse, or you can press '7' on the number pad to position it to the top left corner(0, 0).

You can set the image's hotspot to zero, x, and y.

Edit yeah what he said
Also 9.72 has manual inputs for that now.. yeah David!
