• Hi everyone!

This is the home stretch. Please continue to share with the world. Also, please read the following document on how procedural animation will work in post 1.0 Spriter. Begin on page 8 if you read the previous document. Please share with everyone, and please excuse the typos.

    Thanks again, everyone!

  • Good luck, you both. And after having watched the video, I have to say, you really need to get some sleep, lucid. Fulltime doesn't necessarily mean 24 hours a day

  • Well done for your job guys.

  • Wow. This looks really good and useful. I always thought you lucid were doing some small scale hobby project for some Construct Classic game. I guess I was wrong . All I can say is good job and good luck.

  • It looks great! I'll be sure to pitch in to help make this a reality.

  • Try Construct 3

  • thanks everyone!

and please read the update to the original post.

  • That's really fantastic news! I already paid for a license, but I think I'll pitch in some more next paycheck.

Seriously, congrats! I hope you exceed your backer goal!

  • 100% funded!! woohoo!!!

thank you everyone. everyone's been supremely awesome. time to get to work funding those 'beyond our funding goal' features.

    thanks again guys!

    PS: awesomeness:

Seriously, awesome job on the editor.

  • I'm trying out Spriter but while its running and even not doing anything its using alot of processor resources and memory?

Also at startup ZoneAlarm Anti-virus is reporting that

"Spriter.exe is attempting to monitor user activities on

this computer. If allowed it may try to track or log

    keystrokes (user inputs), mouse movements/clicks,

web sites visited, and other user behaviours"

    Whats going on ?

Though its not trying to access internet...

  • So, can we export our frames an images?

  • please post tech support issues to brashmonkey.com/forum. aside from not wanting to spam scirra with spriter specific issues, it gives us a central place to track and respond to bugs.

this is the first virus report I've heard of. there's definitely no monitoring going on, and it doesn't do anything internet related at all.

as far as the resource hog thing. We're aware of it. We're not even halfway through development, there's plenty of time/room for optimization.

Azu, in the beta, you can export frames as sequential pngs, with magic magenta for transparency. the pro version will have true transparency when that releases.

    thanks for your interest guys.

    still climbing fast

  • Congrats on the funding, Lucid!!

I'm a backer and looking forward for the c2 plugin and procedural animation (I really hope the funding extends that far!)

Awesome job you two did there =]

  • Thank you pedro. Me too, on both of those. The C2 plugin of course, for being able to have more detailed animation in a webpage with no plugins. And I've been wanting to make a procedural animation editor for a very long time, and just never had the time I'd needed.

    Thanks again everyone!
