  • So, I've made this game for the Ludum Dare #20 Compo

An young alien is decided to conquer a planet to show his father he is capable of doing so.

But this task is dangerous, so he takes a giant squid with him.

He will have to use the squid's ink spray to destroy the 12 defence stations of the planet and ultimately conquer it!

    How to play:

    • Destroy clusters of blocks by clicking a block and adjacent blocks of the same color will explode.
    • Some blocks will only destroy a block at one of it sides.
    • Star blocks destroy any block on all sides.
    • Dark blocks are undestructible
    • Destroy all coloured (this includes stars) on a level to win

    Controls:

    • Only a mouse is required

    Known bugs:

Making a screen transition twice (like clicking a button 2 times) may bug the game

  • That's really good game, I can't believe how you could put it together in 2 days.

  • It's a good concept, and it's very pretty, but I think icons on the boxes that are more representational of what they actually do would be good. They're very arbitrary. I found that I wasn't "thinking things through" so much as just solving every puzzle by trial and error, which isn't very satisfying in a puzzle game. Eventually it got to the point where there were just too many blocks in a level to bother with trying to click through every possible sequence and I just gave up.

Sorry for the harsh critique, just my two cents.

But yes, it is amazing, and gorgeous, for a game made in two days

  • Didn't I see a time laps video on this
