Stacked objects problem

Hello everyone...

I have a bit on a project where I spawn objects to a certain formula. The problem is, this means I end up with a few redundant 'piles', if you will, of these objects. I don't know how many piles there are, or how many objects there are in each pile but it is important that I reduce each pile to one object.

How can I reduce each pile to one object?

If I am not being specific enough, I will be happy to draw an image, but I think you get the picture.

Tough one. Since I don't know what the rules are for creating your piles, or if they overlap, etc, I don't know if this will do it for you.

Click left mouse button to create a random number of piles with a random number of objects in them.

Click the right mouse button to pick random objects and destroy any objects that overlap them.
