i've been out for a few months and haven't kept up with the news here. has internet multiplay changed at all or is it still a no-go?

i'm trying to replicate a card game such as hearthstone (but obviously more balanced) and i think the only real hurdle for such a project would be whether or not you could actually accomplish the networking. construct looks robust enough to handle the pixel pushing

It's possible with WebSockets, but you'd need to write your own server, and it might not be suitable for real-time "twitch" gaming since WebSockets can only use TCP transmission, not UDP.
