Stop all music playing

Get help using Construct 2

I am working on a game that'll have a lot of bg music and I'm wondering if there's a way I can just stop the music playing in the bg altogether without having to make an action block with like 15 stop actions.

for example:
On Character death > stop 'NightTheme'
> stop 'NightTheme2'
> stop 'DayTheme'

since I want this to work across all of the levels, I'd like to know how to just stop the last bg music playing in general.

I hope this makes sense sorry.
and thanks!NotionGames2012-06-05 21:45:33

Hmm, you may be able to use toggle states and tags to make this work. Just a hunch, anyway.

Zelda Gamekit (my project)

Example capxs I have made:
Zelda-Style Inventory
Zelda Hearts System

The unwritten "How do I" capx etiquette! Nearly always provide a capx of the problem you have, and try to isolate the problem and/or no capx above 10 MB. :)

Just name your background musics on play with the same tag, "bgmusic" for example.
It will only take one action to stop whatever is the music playing.Kyatric2012-06-05 22:35:15

Thanks guys. I'm trying out the tagging all of the bgmusic with the same tag as Kyatric suggested. Thanks!

I'll let you know if I come across any other problems
