Stopping Car When it Hits a Wall

Hi there,

Sorry if this is a rather noobish question, so I have a basic layout with a car and a wall around the perimeter as well as some objects within the layout. 2 Questions really.

1) Do I need a wall surrounding the perimeter or is there another way to stop the car leaving the layout.
2) How do I stop a car from moving through things.

At current I have set it so that the car stops and its speed sets to 0, but it can just accelerate again through the object once it's wedged into it. How can I stop it passing over the object completely?

Cheers in advance!

Nick.

Open Construct2, click new, scroll down list to Template: Driving game. Sprite2 behaviors have solid enabled. Nothing can go through it.
You can also give your car a behavior called bound to layout.
