Stopping Keyboard Events?

Get help using Construct 2

My Game Subtracts 1 from score every time the up or down arrow is pressed. (Basically it counts moves - So by the end, the less moves, the higher the score)

At the end of the game, I need to deactivate the Keyboard up and down arrows, but nothing I do seems to be working.

Any idea on how I can do this?

Add a condition to the key press events. E.g.

+ On up arrow pressed
+ Global variable 'keysEnabled' is 1
-> Do something

Then, if you set keysEnabled to 0, the event stops running.
