Stopping timer?

Hello!

Im new to using construct and i currently have this issue where i can't get the timer to stop when the character is dead.

Basically i add 1 to a text field every second but i want it to stop adding when the player is dead. All help is appreciated!

I also wonder if anyone has a clue how to restart the game after the player is dead?

on start of layout:
   -text: set score to 1
every 1000 milliseconds:
   -text: set text to int(text)+1*text('score')
on collision between Sprite and Sprite2:
   -text: set 'score' to 0

Haven't tested it but I think it should work.
