Stretching a tiled image without resizing it (less memory)

I have a tiled Background which I want to stretch so it isn't in its original size/resolution.
Especially when making pixel art stuff this may be handy.
But having to resize it is a bit waste of memory, and it's fun to shrink the game as much as possible :D .

I searched for an answer but can't find it.
Is it possible?

May I have to use Sprites and stretch them? But then I'd have to tile them myself...

You are trying to do exactly the opposite of the design of the tiled background, so yes, I'm afraid you'd have to use Sprites and tile them yourself.
Not a big deal though, in the how do I FAQ you can find implementations of "grid" with Sprites, it is pretty easy to do.
New to Construct ? Where to start
