Why can't the sub app have a size indipendet of the parent applications window size? It's crazy!

You're going to have to be a little more specific as to what you are doing.

Do you see the little window to the right? That is a sub application. I want the size of the window to be diffrent from the size of the application.

I mean is that the layout object, or another windows process?
CC isn't made to do sub apps very well.

It's the layout object.

The object is pretty bugged, the standard reply is not to use it. It's very unreliable.

I guess I'll have to create the brush window as a exe and have it communicate via a ini file, then.

Whenever I've used the layout object in builds prior to, oh I dunno, .98, it worked fine in the .cap but as an .exe it glitched badly. But then in anything above .98 I tested it and it worked fine albeit in a program with no events or other graphics besides the window I made for the layout object.

I get the impression that the object goes haywire when it's put together with a number of other things, but works fine on its own.
