Sword swing

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Thu Oct 23, 2014 2:03 pm

The sword is good when I'm moving right but when I move left the sword does not mirror to the left side just stay in the image point but does mirror to left side. Also when I use attack moving left the sword swings down then up rather then up to down like how when I move right. I attach pictures.

Not only do you need to mirror the sword sprite, but also mirror the movement and the angle when the space bar is triggered.

OK it fixed my problem with the mirror on movement be when I press space to swing sword and swings to feet then back instead of up then back to image point.

It seems like you have not changed the -50 degrees angle.

In Construct 2 the angles are:
North: -90
West: 180 <-> East: 0
South: 90

The movement of the angle stays the same when space bar is pressed the sprite will move from it's relative position. So "East" becomes "West" when mirrored.
Hope that helped.

Can you take a look? I need the movement of the sword to be the same. The right swing is correct. Need the left swing to do same but facing left.

Any reason I can jump and hold right and swing the sword but if I hold jump and left doesn't swing sword?
