Hi, I'm working on my next game, Team Notion. I am currently trying to decide which of these styles I should do. Maybe you can help by choosing which ones you like.
Thanks in advance!

Great art style!

I think I like "A" the most. Have you thought about a combining "A" and "C" with the outer lines black and the inner lines colored?

I don't mean to nitpick, but the combination of mole and hints of hair from behind her left cheek looks like stubble to me. Maybe consider removing the mole or place it on the other side of her face? Maybe extend the hair longer? If not, I'm sure people like me will figure it out.

I really like your overall design. It's both strong and appealing. Good luck with your game!

You should use A & C depending on light scenes.

B & D look "demake" than A & C.Joannesalfa2013-10-03 11:28:37

The non shaded ones look a bit too flat. I would probably say go with A. C could work, but the shade you used for the colored lineart is a tad light, making it look somewhat overexposed, to use a photography term. Especially with the white background.

Maybe throw up a pic with a beige/grey-ish background?inkBot2013-10-03 13:26:13

@Sebastian @Joannesalfa @inkbot

Thank you guys for your input/advice.
I removed the hair on the side. It looked better in the sketch and higher res version. After looking at it again (especially with the scaled down version), it does look like stubble. Thanks :)

Here is a version with a colored background (I updated the OP as well)

@Sebastian
Thanks for the color tweak. I didnt see that at first because my phone. Didn't show the detail, now that I am on my computer i can see the inside lines colored and outside black. That looks great.

Yeah, E looks great. I'd say go with that.
