Terrible lags with Joints

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Create object physics and hinge it by the center image point to some other fixed object, to make something like swing.Make it Solid.

    2. Create any controlable hero with Behaviors: platform, physics. Make Density of thease object - different.

    3. Jump to the swings several times... During one minute - the game become lagging to much. Some time later lags growing up.

    Observed result:

    Terrible lags.

    Expected result:

    If we change Joint command to Pin behaveor - it solve this problem,but physics joints is unusable function at all.

    Browsers affected:

    Chrome: yes/no

    Firefox: yes/no

    Internet Explorer: yes/no

    Operating system & service pack: win7

  • You're going to have to upload your CAPX somewhere, such as Dropbox or some other service - the link you provided would only work on you're computer while testing the file.

    Tom - Any chance we could get a note about using localhost links in the bug report template?

  • Yes the capx is always required.

    Your description being a bit vague, nothing beats an already made capx that is quicker for Ashley or anyone to check out.

    You shouldn't mix platform/solid and physics behaviors.

    And you did not tell what was the OS you're using.

    Please complete the report with all the informations asked.
