text prob

For questions about using Classic.

I am starting to work on a small game as one of the many im doing for a science fair project this year. You have a mouse. Get the cheese for points. If you get moldy cheese you lose 1 out of 3 health points. I have a text that is supposed to tell you your health. For some reason, when you start the game, it doesn't say HEALTH: 3 like i set it so it should be. It says TEXT until you hit the moldy cheese. Also, is there a way that I can respawn the cheese on a random area of the area? Thanks for your help :D

To spawn the cheese at random locations, just set the X and Y to random.

What he means is that you can make a private variable that is called (timer) and say:
[code:727rc9kf]Always:Subtract 1*timedelta from cheese('timer')

Timer Less or Equal 0=System:Spawn cheese at random(*) and random(**)

Timer Less or Equal 0=Set Timer random(***)[/code:727rc9kf]

*=The number will be the X amount of your layout

**=This will be the Y amount of your layout

***=This will be every how many seconds the thing will spawn

Hope you understand. I will try to post a cap. . . :)
