Yes, definitely awesome. Initially I thought I would just be creating prototypes in C2, but it is so much quicker and more fun than my other tools that I can't stop.

I agree. Ever since I stumbled upon it, I have been recommending C2 to anyone who will listen.

Please don't get discouraged you guys!! You are making groundbreaking software. At the risk of sounding hyperbolic, I think that when C2 gains widespread use it could be one of the landmark events in the history of video games. This is the software that has the potential to bring game design to the masses.

I'm not sure there should be other people working for Scirra. Here is an excerpt from the Tao of Programming:

A manager went to the master programmer and showed him the requirements document for a new application. The manager asked the master: "How long will it take to design this system if I assign five programmers to it?"
"It will take one year," said the master promptly.
"But we need this system immediately or even sooner! How long will it take if I assign ten programmers to it?"
The master programmer frowned. "In that case, it will take two years."
"And what if I assign a hundred programmers to it?"
The master programmer shrugged. "Then the design will never be completed," he said.brockatkinson2012-05-16 03:17:42

Why would this be?

Thank you, Scirra! The first couple HTML5 games I tried to make I tried to hand code, and the result was horrible. One didn't work at all, and the other just sucked. I then tried many other game engines all requiring some form of coding. I know how to code websites with HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript but when it comes to game making in these, I just don't get it. I almost gave up on my dream of making my own games until I finally found my way here. Now in a short amount of time with Construct 2 I can create some pretty amazing games. And it's all thanks to Ashley, and Tom for all the hard work that they do.

As far as the graphics card vendors poor service to its customers go we all know that it's not your fault so please don't let that get you down.

You guys rock!

You never have tried to work in a team, have you.
A hundred people will have a hundred opinions and will discuss every last detail.

Even if there's a team leader whose role is to make the final decision in the end that the team will have to go by, it's just how design teamwork works and it makes it a lengthy process at times.

And of course, thank you @Ashley & @Tom, keep it up, C2 is awesome, etc...

Yeah, never tried to join/form any team of more than 3 people. In which case everyone had their role and would not mess with each other's work, well... unless asked. However, it was for game dev., I have never worked in a team for software dev. though and I know it's different. This would happen even when under contract? I mean, if someone is paying me and they have written legal rules which I sign, I'd would think I'd better not break them. Like I said, I've no idea, just going in general...

Also, to add to stream of appreciation for your work (Tom & Ashley), is commendable the level of support and attention for direct and indirect questions and doubts from your community. From direct questions like "do this works right now?" to indirect ones like "how do i do this or that". You appears replying, and fast. This kind of presence is always a measure of health, an indication of a wheel oiled and running fine.

All this, comming from a tool that not only is using successfully new technologies some still even fear to use (html5 games) but, also, doing it with the added hardwork that represent giving this in a non-programmers environment.

I will always defend all approaches to simplicity for complex tasks or projects. And you have developed this kind of tool with the added value of your constant presence and with a quality that, to me, excelled all expectation.

It's on us to make now, good games that reflects the quality of the tools that helped us archive them.
