The camera doesn't follow the game hero through the level.

Get help using Construct 2

Hi everyone,

For my level I have made it so the camera follow the game hero by using the 'Scroll to' behavior, but when I move the hero in run layout it is able to out run the camera about half way through the level and move out of the cameras view.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Seems like your layout isn't large enough.. when you reach the border of the layout the camera stops so that the player can't see outside the layout.

Try to change the size of your layout :)

My layout is 2250x2000, the hero outruns the camera and is out of the view of the player, even when the hero is out of view the camera still moves as if it is following the hero.

Sorry, I'm currently at work and don't have access to the capx. I will post tonight.

I think it might be because two objects have the scroll to behavior, so it centers on a viewpoint in between the two if both are enabled. That could be an explanation but I won't know for sure until I get the capx.

HI LaDestitute, I'm having trouble posting the Capx file to this forum. Do you have an email address I can send it to?

Regards.
