Hi, newbie one here :D
Started two days ago with this piece of software and I already love it, let's see if I'll be smart enough to get a good enough game to show you all in a couple of weeks... :P

Cheers.

Greetings! I'm looking forward to working with Construct and meeting everyone on the forums. I've been a lurker for about a year or so now, but never took the step to involve myself with Construct or the community. After disappointment with GameMaker, GameSalad, and other programs, I was surprised and excited to work with Construct. I'm sure many of the Scirra veterans won't be surprised at that revelation, but for someone who's always been fascinated with games (25 years of playing and designing), Construct is a fantastic tool.

Cheers!

Hi,
I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and say Hi to everyone. I have been on the site for a week or two now, and I have to say, the more I read, the more impressed (and slightly overwhelmed) I am.

I have a couple of ideas that I would like to transform into games, so I'm busy reading the manual, How Do I FAQ's, the tutorials, and looking at other capx files to understand them better.

I'm sure I will have lots of questions. I already do, but I don't want to be one of those people who ask others to put my game together for me. However, I may ask for guidance towards a similar game, capx file, tutorial, etc. I hope you won't mind putting up with me

Let me end by saying, the amount of effort put into all those areas I have already mentioned is just incredible. I'm sure Thank You can't be said enough to you.

Hello to all the new comers.
It's still pleasant to see all the variety of people gathering on the website.

@Doc, I moved your post in this thread, it's nicer to keep all those messages in the same spot.
For questions about C2, don't hesitate to post indeed in the "C2 general" nor "How do I" forums.

Howdy! A little while back I downloaded Construct Classic for use in making little games of my own, but I've struggled to find proper tutorials(or heck, just information on basic layouts) on the Internet. Even finding proper tutorials on the Scirra site was starting to irk me!

Anyhow, I signed because I really want to invest some time in this software, especially since I'm planning on making my girlfriend a special game for her birthday.

I'm a huge fan of platforming games old and new, having played the original NES and Sega Genesis since I was a kid with my Mom. I've always loved to attempt to design my own levels aesthetically and technically. My favorite new games at the moment have to be Rayman Origins, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Sonic Generations.

Hmmm, too much info? Oh well, I guess it just shows what I'm into. :p Anyway, I hope that my time here is pleasant and that I can learnall that I need and want to know!

Hello,

My name is Ale, I'm from Rogaka Slatina, Slovenia. I, as many of you here, was born with a computer adiction. But it wasn't until few years ago that I started learning about web developing. And a month ago I got a great carier opportunity that lead me to game developing. I hope that with my determination and also with some help I'll get good :)

Thank you. Feel free to contact me.
