Hello, I'm Peter.

I was always a dreamer, and have been drawn since I could hold a pencil. I haven't got a console back in the NES era, I mostly played DOS games or on my cousin's yellow-cartidge-based chinese thing. I've also made maps for GoldSRC, Unreal and Source engine games.

I've got realized how much I'd like to create a game recently. Since I study architecture, the art part is okay. Sadly, coding was always an issue. Construct's filled the gap and allowed me to start developing a metroidvania platformer. It's called Project Atlas and is in an early state now.

Hello, I'm Wish.

I love games like Pokemon or Final Fantasy. I wanna create my own world.

I never create a game before, but I always dream to do it. I'm gonna make games for my Thesis. Wish me luck!

Hello,
I'm new to all of this. I was looking around and I found gamesalad, stencyl and construct 2. I chose construct 2, because it was much easier than the others and I sa these great games created in the arcade.
Oh and more about me. I'm 12 and I was very interested in getting a game published into the app store.

Hi everyone,

I've been interested in video games since I was a kid, mostly due to playing the Commander Keen series at my uncle's house, the oft-forgotten Sega Game Gear I had at home, and a kajillion CD-ROMs and floppy disks from the 90's shareware magazine explosion.

As a teenager I fooled around with Klik&Play a bit but never finished a game, I mostly liked making sprites move around and make stupid noises as they crashed into each other. Eventually I left K&P behind as I went on to pursue a filmmaking career, which is what I've been doing for pretty much my whole adult life.

Recently I worked for a global gaming giant and got that old "never meet your heroes" reality slap/check, which motivated me to go do my own thing and keep away from EvilCorp and middle management lemmings.

I heard about Construct a couple days ago and it appealed to me immediately since it reminded me so much of K&P's visual scripting events but with way more freedom -- and you gotta love that export range! Just downloaded the free version and will most likely start where I left off in K&P 15 years ago. Hopefully I'll be able to evolve my use of Construct from ludic toy to powerful tool.

I'm pumped!

Hi all,
My name is Mark, I live in Japan and teach English to students of all ages, from 4 to 84 years old.

I want to use C2 to make educational games so my students will have more fun while learning English.

I bought an iPad a while ago and I downloaded some apps for. Ever since playing those games her English ability has skyrocketed as did her interest in English.

So I hope to have a similar result for my students.

Any help anyone can provide, or Capx files for educational games would greatly be appreciated.

Mark

Hello Scirra/Construct Community!!!

It seems that I have far gone this part of the introduction phase of proper community etiquette... My apologizes to all... With that said;

My name is Jay Reid... I'm an artist by genetics I just(seems to run in the family), and I'm a self taught musician... I'm been playing video games ever since I got a "PONG" entertainment system in the mid 80's... Hence, the attraction to C2. I'm now an aspiring game developer, using my natural talents along with a keen eye for design to produce my first game... Programming languages seem very cryptic and complex, but Scirra's Event system (built from JavaScript SDK) makes it easier to comprehend complex syntax... In a word, relieved I found this awesome HTML editor. Well hoping to have my first game up and running asap people... Sorry I took so long to write this :)

Hi guys,

old gamer but new developer here. After analyzing most known game engines I decided to choose Construct 2.

I worked as a game tester and also as a game designer for a while, but I have zero coding knowledge. So I hope I can turn some of my ideas into experience and working games.

So now my journey begins and there is a lot to learn with Construct
