Yeah, the reporting feature works, as far as I know.

I've reported several over the last week or two, and they do get deleted.

Maybe a Mod should let us know whether our reports are getting through to them.

You can't report a post more than once, so the system sees it as reported at least.

It is not the people they're posting this for... it is Google. Googlebot indexes stuff like this and gives more "importance" to any linked sites it finds - especially from a relatively high PR site like these forums.

That's the dark side of SEO.

We do see the reports on messages. We have access to a list of reported messages, and when viewing the board all reported messages are visibly flagged as such, so it's pretty hard to miss.
