The turret does not shoot

I have a problem with a tower,
i copied the events of the turret tutorial demo, but i do not want my turret rotates, if i rotate setting 'NO', the gun stops shooting the bullet.
The question is why it stops firing?

in practice, i want that the sprite of the turret must remain stationary, but the projectile must be fired in the position in which is positioned the pg

Can someone help me?

the events are set so:
-system on start of layout > turret add turret targhet player
-turret on turret shot > turret spawn projectile on layer
-projectile bullest distance travelld turret.turret.range > projectile destroy

I think the rotate event must be yes for the gun to shoot towards the player, I have a feeling it will shoot the player if they are on the right side of the turret (or basically in direct line of fire).

You might want to leave rotate on for the behavior, and then rotate off in animation settings.
