Wow, this is amazing! Definitely a very cool/weird artistic vibe to it. It's unique and imaginative - almost like a disturbing and surreal (platformer) dream

The particle character is strange really,,,,i not sure with your design and composition...
all sounds FREESOUND.ORG,
i did some modifications in wave editor software,,,
but i think in stay with this immersion idea,,, weird, tension ...and subtle..

What I meant about the character is that you could find something more subtle, or maybe with less particles.
If the game has to be contemplative, the avatar is maybe a bit distractive.
For example how about giving different "shapes" to those particles to form a body, or some other living creature, but just slightly and keeping rather abstract of course.
Turns out I made a film with evolving particles a while ago ;)
