Congratulations on lowering the bar for us all, Mr. and Mrs. Martin. You had might as well start saving up now for the therapy bills.

(I suppose it IS possible that they are just fans of the Kabbalah.... nahhh)

Hey at least Sephiroth was a total bad ass... they could have named him Cid or Barrett... they were useless as hell.

At least they didn't name him Cube like my aunts' friend named her son.

Yes ... Cube.

Wow, Cube? I like the idea of geometric names. I might call my kid Dodecahedron. Could always shorten it to Dodi.

Sephiroth, that's almost as bad as calling kids Star Wars names, like Obi Wan, Han, or, erm, Luke. I'd shorten it to Seph.

Seph's not a particularly bad name, I know some new-age 'hippies' so to speak who named their kid Earth and are planning for their second to be called Sky, etc.

They might have named the child after what the character was named after - as written in the Kabbalah of Judaism, the ten attributes of God. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sephiroth
