If you are looking for a well done Time Management Game Template that you can buy an literally "pop" time management games, look no further, it toked me a while but i coded the perfect time management game template in my opinion. you have all the features needed, GUI elements places, over 10 different of vendors to purchase, over 10 upgrades, achievements possibility, for you to customize and make awesome time management games.this is a template for beginners, if u want the full complete template with more advanced and more features i will publish it soon when i`m done programming ( the template has 823 events)

!!!Attention Read before post/buy!!!
I tried to keep the template as simple as possible, the current version is not a complete game, but it can be turned into 1 very easy if you know a bit of how construct 2 works. there is no math involved in template, however you must know how " booleans " work, and other functionalities as " instance variables" , and " global variables " , and " families ", other way i don't encourage you to buy it, unless you want to learn the hard way, i don't have time to make a tutorial or manual for it for now, but i added comments on what i was thinking is the most needed information for you to be able to understand what each event does. Its a simple template that you can understand easy if you will finish or understand how to use the " Flapin bird tutorial " game in the c2 defaults. However the next update will need you to know how to use Facebook API since will have a login and registration, also a load save action based on it. All feature updates il be post it here for this template, if you have any issues or bugs you can either post here a reply or look into the template for the email i added for contact support. Thanks for your support towards my work, and for purchasing the Template. Hope you find it useful and you will learn better C2. And hope to see many Time management games in future, will make me a very happy monkey :lol:



New Version updated, ### 198 Beta Shop Ready Template v1.2 ###
- The shop items are now functional. Each item you purchase in shop, is unlocked when u purchase atleast 5 vendors, and once you purchased them the amount of money needed is withdrawn,and the vendors will be running in idle mode (you don't need to click them anymore to earn money).
- Reduced the size of events from initial 860 to 420 . There was a problem with Text display and duplications and also the way numbers shows digits after a few millions earned. Will try to fix it in future. for now its basics display.

Important Notice

Right now the assets may look doll or raw, but soon all uploads will come in shape, as I'm going to polish them and change all the missing pieces, so they look more shinny :P and give a better idea of what the templates can be turned into.

Sup. Ok I bought this today. tested it. ( you really need to put up a demo so we know what were paying for)
Not too bad of a start. I can work with this.
I do have some questions.

Q1:errmm...If its a time management, where is the timer? or any reference to time?
Instead its more of an infinite-time resource manager.

Q2: What kind of math is this using?
in preview I had 11k. which is 11000 right?
1 venue gives income of 4500 or 4.k right?
so when it gets done, it only gives me 2k or 2000.
later I had 7k. Venue says income is 21.6k, but I only received 2.16k?

I think it would be easier on you coding this to reduce the amount down a bit. Working with such large numbers is a difficult task alone, I'll see if I can wrap some the events into a functions to take down the event count. If it works, I'll give you the modified capx to work with as you please.

Q3: I see your still working on it, which is great. If we purchased this, do we get any of the updates( ie. like construct 2 does their licence?)

Q4: what are the buttons in the Menu supposed to be for exactly?

First of all, thank you for your purchase.
Time management, can mean a lot of things :) i forgot to specify that this time management, is more of a upgrade clicker and it (time management - you gain money, if you buy enough regenerative venues), does not mean, that you have necessarily a time/clock.

il try answer your questions here as much and accurate i can, so :

Q1- i just said above, it does not always mean a clock will be shown, but if you really want that i could add it, its more of a infinite upgrade time management, as a cookie clicker, its still a time management, il update it very soon, and you will have the timer that counts days/weeks/months/years, in the events for those who want a timer, and il add the initial thing i wanted to add for it, end of year taxes. but i had so many on my plate lately and i couldn't continued it yet.

Q2- not sure where u had that problem, the math is simple, every price u have, its multiplied with every purchase by 1.25 times, that's 25% of the total price, the revenue its more simple then that, it automatically calculates how many venues you have and gives u reward for each item u have of that category * by the venue reward . e.g if the venue reward its 10 and you have 10 venues of the same type your reward will be 100 , its impossible for the venue to give u less since its only multiplies the numbers of venues you got with the reward you choose'd, unless you changed the math that should not give u less , (there might be a problem with the price text show, i tried to add the K,Mil,Bil and cut the 000 or 6 zeros when u have to many, since c2 automatically creates a lot of digits at the end, you might read it wrong, or is a matter of display problem, il try work on this problem cause its creating to many problems).

Q3 - seems fair for those who bought it now, or in the Beta stage, that they will get a new file when the update is finished, i just need you guys to pm me with the purchase code, so i can identify u, then il send u a redeem code for the new item update.(that if doesn't do it automatically not sure how it works yet.)


Q4 - the buttons in the shop menu, where supposed to be the managers for each venue that will run them automatically for you without u have to click on items to run the business to get the reward.




il try update it as soon as possible, and when i do il add a demo version on web so can be played, with a tutorial info.
also as you see when u enter the game asks you for a name of company, i dident finished it yet, when u start the game, you have a picture in top left corner , that should be the image u selected, followed by your name, and business icon, the template future is near to be completed, and then you will have a good engine for time management games type, including, offline idle mode, save load options, logo customization, name changing, , time laps and taxes, and many achievements and upgrades, as you see the events for the template are above 500, so when i finish will be a easy to use template, but im afraid for those who don't have a c2 license cause when its completed the game will have over 2000 events.

Thanks for your tips, and questions this helps me a lot to improve the features in the products i sell.

Also im working on a multiplayer pool template, and i have a bit of issues with the animations of balls when angle is changed so it gives u the 3d ball roll, but that will be fixed soon.

This is perfect for me, but the license is unclear to me....

If i "learn" from this source code, create a similar but different way , i still cannot implement for my own work to the general public?

Thanks for your purchase for first, on second hand, i dident made the license :) is the default by scirra, as it says , its for learning, tutoring only, but im selling the source , so that means you have my permission to change the code in it, and gain money with ur game, but not resell or share for free the source i made, that u can download from the store. you should check later a bit, i updated the template, its awaiting approval. Don't worrie you'll be able to download any new updates , as il make them visible as default download.

Thanks for speedy reply, i didnt buy it yet, just wanted to make sure of the license, this makes sense i wouldnt resell etc the source so im going to purchase now.

This source code is more than 100 events? So cannot use with free version. If so, i will buy the personal edition along with yours. ;)

yes the current source is 800+ events, the new updated one is 416 events, so either way u need atleast personal edition, in the new updated i removed some problems with the display , i will fix it in the future update that im currently working on, that will include the display of high numbers, achievements, facebook login, avatar creation, save/load slots, and possible a connection to a private server so u just need to create the database and the SQL table, but for the last part im not sure yet.

the source game is pretty huge, i did the coding as simple as possible that means a lot of events, it can be done in less events but that will take more advance knowledge for buyers.

Have you an eta on the latest release?

Also you have a very basic version with less events? Its hard for me as beginner to understand just the shop functions.

Awesome work, would buy again 8-)

The release should be available soon on download , its waiting approval, i cant tell a date when will be ready to download, in this stage i don't have control over it, its a matter when scirra approves it. Sadly no i don't have a less events version, but il try explain what means all events in future update, right now you have some of the events explained, but the shop its new and i forgot to add comments. il try finish the new update as soon as possible and make it live :) I'm really glad that you find the template useful :) , thanks for your support and purchase. i`m currently working on the next updates and another casino roulette template game :) hope to finish both this week. :) also il try make it more compact and get rid of the bugs in it, if there are any at this stage, pretty sure there some, if you find any bugs or stuff i forgot to fix, please leave me a comment here and il try fix it before i publish the new update.

When u download the template you should check to download the default version " 198 Beta Shop Ready Template v1.2 " it just got approved .
