time scale and object time scale problem

Get help using Construct 2

Hi all,

When i hit pause button, my game pauses via time scale and a game menu with options gets visible. However i want my buttons to have animation at this time and even though i have the event object time scale for the buttons set to 1, it doesnt seem to work. Anybody got an idea what am i doing wrong? Is this the proper way to have an ingame menu on pause event? Thanks!

First you don't need subevent because the event will trigger only once.
Look to the example it's work fine.

Thanks for the capx. It looks like the wait command is not functioning on the sprites i need to animate. On touch button i need to first finish the animation of the button and then run the events.So far it worked with wait command but i guess i have to find another solution. I will try on animation finished or something else...if you have any idea let me pls know :) thx
