Timer question

Get help using Construct 2

This is likely a simple question, but for the life of me I can't figure it out at the moment.

I have a trigger right now when Player collides with object A spawn Object B.

My question is how can I have Object B spawn then say automatically destroy itself a second or 2 later?

Create a pv for object B, "timestamp", and fill it with timer (System/Get timer) on creation

Add an event. Compare the pv "timestamp" against timer - (desired time in ms), e.g.
+ object B: pv "timestamp" less or equal timer - 1000
-> object B: destroy
