Tizen landscape

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Post » Sun Sep 29, 2013 9:21 am

Hey all,

I have been trying to find out how to lock the orientation of the screen to landscape in Tizen, and someone from the Tizen forums linked me to this.

I'm useless with code, so I was wondering if anyone could help me with this? As in which files I need to change and where. I've searched the forums and seen a number of people with the same problem, but so far haven't found anyone who was successful.

it seems easy:

screen.lockOrientation("landscape");

but for sure there should be some advice (where to put? etc.)

You should be able to run that line with the Browser object's 'Execute javascript' as a hack to work around for the time being. I'll add a proper action for it in the next build.

Also I was wondering if there is a file size limit for Tizen? I haven't been able to find that out anywhere.

This is cool, but I'll throw this small question in that I've already made an assumption of but just want confirmation :P :
Does Tizen support .OGG? I've been using .ogg for all my sounds and music and just making sure it's supported.

I'm afraid I don't know about a file size limit on Tizen. However it definitely does support Ogg Vorbis, and the Tizen exporter will automatically remove any .m4a files since it knows it can play the .ogg.
