When you're writing an expression in the expression editor you'll have another window at the side with objects that you can pull variables and such from (if you don't, press F4 to show it). In that window double click on the System object and you get that list from the picture. Double click on whichever expression you want to add and it's added to the expression (along with helpers if needed).

Notepad is not, in any way, more useful and handy than this.

And if for whatever reason you still feel compelled to write a list of things inside C2, put it inside a comment or something. Shortcut is "q" I believe.

When you start a new condition or action, it will show a window on the right and another on the left, just click on the left window and search inside it what you need. the first times you'll be lost, but you'll learn where the things are, making it easy and fast to use.

In delgado's defense, I used C2 for 3 or 4 months before "discovering" the panel, which was sitting there in plain (if not somewhat transparent) sight. It wasn't immediately apparent to me.
Don't see the fnords and they won't eat you!
