Whenever I die in this game, I feel like it's my fault, and not the games fault-- which is a pretty good indicator that this game is awesome.

just played it. it's really cool. did 1008 ft. And died only because nails where behind plant with jump power-up :P

Playing around with a radiosity shader I made. I might include this effect as a setting for people with faster graphics cards. It's quite subtle in the screenshots, but it looks great in motion. Purple berries cast a soft purple glow on stone, lava illuminates anything near it, and the man's skin reflects light as he's climbing, making the walls look somewhat reflective.

Your "radiosity" is quite funny. I wonder how you're doing this one (maybe you're using the distance between a masked pixel and a source, but it can be complicated this way).

The game looks great. Will the final title feature something like a scenario mode ?
