An interesting platform adventure game. If you are looking for a very easy template to create your own Super mario.
• On a distant planet, creatures named Sunkin were totally exterminated in a war for liberty by an ancient race of Ethereals who enslaved all other sentient species of this Twisted World. But the last Sunkin egg remained unharmed hidden deep in the woods...

Well that was all the plot for my second Construct game named Twisted World. This is not a common platformer (like Super Mario). Your character will have to evolve (like in Metroid). You'll have to shoot a lot (like in Contra) because not all enemies could be jumped on to death. Evade different obstacles using wall jump, double jump and ceiling grab (kind of a Meat Boy gameplay). 4 powerfull bosses will get in your way, beware! Game saves on a checkpoints, remember this.

And please tell me what do you think about it. Your opinion will help me to understand how to improve my skills further!

• The link doesn't work :(

• Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
• Is it in non-public folder?

Graphics looks somehow wacky (I guess because of mixing low-res pixel art and things like blur and gardients), but since I'm metroidvania fan I want to try it

• Sorry for the link. Here is a working one

dl.dropbox.com/u/33035103/Twisted%20World.rar

mediafire.com

• Both DropBox links are working fine for me and some of my friends whom I've asked to test them few minutes ago...

• Links are working fine here.

• Sorry everyone! I was in a such hurry that I didn't notice some minor bugs. Version of the game was updated on a DropBox and MediaFire.

• Please tell me what do you think about this game. Your opinion is very important for me!

• srry but links dont work for me

• srry but links dont work for me

Some people have troubles with my DropBox links for unknown reason But MedfiaFire link works fine for everyone (well, for 84 users who downloaded it by now). Try MediaFire link if there will be any trouble I'll upload it once more and update the links.

• The game would have been much more fun if it wasn't so laggy all time. It would run much faster (I think) if you made objects events only run if they were on screen. Otherwise the game was pretty fun, but it is weird how you immediately slow down when you grab onto a wall, you should decelerate a little. Also the graphics are not very good looking, but that's not as important to me as basic gameplay.

Well it is working pretty fast on my system. Frankly speaking no lags at all. Thanks for your point of view about wall grab. I will use your advice. And about graphics... Well I can draw on paper pretty well but mouse is not my favorite tool
