Ubuntu Touch support?

@Ashley Version 1.0 of the Ubuntu Touch has been released to public (http://www.ubuntu.com/phone). From what I read, it supports HTML 5 (http://developer.ubuntu.com/apps/html-5/overview/). Are there any additional tweaks required to make C2 games run on the phone?

Anyone tried it? How is the game performance?

We'll look in to this in the near future. I think last I looked it was based on Cordova (PhoneGap).

No tip, I tried some basic native html5+javascript animations with 500 objects on ubuntu touch and it worked very fine 81fps(On an real device I think something between 30-50 should be possible).

You dont need phonegap to export to ubuntu touch ;) It works fine without it.

In the current release some works, some not. You can already access things like the device rotation, the most installed apps and the gps data. This things I tried.

@Darklinki good to know :) Have you tried any C2 game on it? The SDK does not include the emulator so I cannot test anything.

Trough cordova (has an emulator) or if you use ubuntu directly with the sdk, the apps can be used on the pc and on the phone ;)

@Darklinki Thanks! I tried to create a Cordova project, copied the exported files from C2 to the project and launched it in debug mode but QMLScene showed a black screen, any advise?

export the files via phonegap exporter in c2 than it should work
