I'm looking to create a jetpack like game. Right now I just testing controls using a little test copter to go up when I hold down the left mouse button.

I looked at the heli capx in the forums and tried to duplicate it but on pressing the left button my copter still falls.

I thinking I'm missing something pretty obvious because this appears to be something simple to do.

Windows 7 64-bit. latest stable C2

Here is a link to my one line cap.

Thanks

Your force is too small! Increase it to something in the hundreds and it works nicely.

Sqiddster;

Thanks so much for that quick answer. So like in the real world if my object were small it would require less force?

I'm not sure if I understood right, but I think you need to apply specific mass for the physics object to make it lighter. I don't think any physics engine calculates the mass from object's scale.
