Use IIS localhost

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Thu Jan 31, 2013 2:13 am

So, I understand Construct opens your game at: localhost:50000

My IIS server runs at localhost:80

I want to load a php off my web server from my game, but they're both using localhost.

Is that communication still going to be blocked by my [Chrome] browser, even though it's still part of my local machine?

Thanks,
BJA

The problem is Construct 2 doesn't offer PHP engine.

You have to export a HTML5 game and place the directory, then use your real server. You can get working with PHP.

I know it's annoying issue sometimes we have to change adjusts on C2 and export again, there a solution you should use XML plugin it can changes the variables via XML without editing on C2 editor again
