use instance variables to link pages?

Get help using Construct 2

Hi.

I'm trying to make a 'game' out of a comic in a minority language. I want the difficult words to hyperlink to an online dictionary's definition of that word.

Can different instances of the same sprite link to different pages?

Here's where I'm at so far:

Thanks.

(...or is this better resolved by just importing shed loads of sprites, one for each link?)

You should be able to put the link in an instance variable on the sprite.
Then in your browser "Go To" action use the instance name in the URL field.
Is that what you mean?

Whats wrong with:
On object clicked browser go to object.variable?

There's no reason you cant store the url in an instances variable.
