Using Right Analog stick on 360 Controller to move mouse

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Sat May 14, 2016 12:17 am

Hi I'm trying to simulate mouse movement by moving the right analog stick on a xbox 360 controller.
I read another Thread that may have proved useful if the link for the Capx file was not broken.
I'm not really sure how to go about this as I'm still new to Construct 2.

When I was Using game-maker it was relatively easy to do.

Any Ideas?

It's not possible. Construct 2 use HTML5, and it doesn't have permissions to control the mouse for security reasons. Imagine if you enter a website and your mouse go to your (C:) and format it. What are you trying to do anyway? Maybe we can workaround this restriction.

Create your own mouse Sprite object and make it so both mouse events and joystick events control this particular object. And hide the real mouse on the game screen.
I got a game that you multiply, breath fire with two heads and brawl foes to oblivion with your clones: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/660664 (use Chrome on Windows for best performance)
