Please forgive my newbieness. I am getting so lost in all the anacronyms.
Anyway, My game is simple. One scene of chickens in the coop. They drop their eggs and the player has to catch them. Problem is my eggs are falling to the right instead of straight down.

What sort of behaviour do you have on your eggs?

Also, if you post your .capx file here (preferably using dropbox), I could have a look.

When you imported the egg image into the sprite, did you face it to the right? The Sprite's default angle is right...   If you are using Physics it might me your gravity? Maybe you can post a Capx we can look at?

When you use the bullet behaviour on your sprite, they will follow the angle of the object when you increase the speed.

You could use the Physics behaviour to make the eggs fall vertically.

If you want it to fall using the bullet behaviour, you can rotate the egg, or you can use gravity instead of speed.
