View Event Sheet in Export

Get help using Construct 2

Sooo, I made a huge mistake and accidentally saved over my project. I have an older backup that I am going to have to start re coding, but there is one set of events I just cant remember how I set up, and I got it perfect. I just cant figure out how I did it

IS there ANY way to view an event sheet or list of events somewhere in the folder of the game that I exported? Thank you so much.

I seemed to have found the area where the code I am looking for is in the c2runtime.js, but am having a hard time deciphering it.

No, this is something many users deliberately want to prevent: if it were possible you could reverse-engineer other people's games and get the projects, making it a lot easier to steal them. So by default the exported code is obfuscated to make this impossible.

Might be a good time to enable automatic daily backup.Ashley2012-07-15 18:20:23

Ashly,
Thanks for your reply. I kind of figured that was the case, and it is totally understandable. For others that might have this problem, I was able to open up the c2runtime.js in dreamweaver, and find some of my code in there which help re create it (mainly action order, and values), but I imagine if your not sure where that code was in the event sheet, it will probably be really hard to find.
