Works fine for me.

Tested in all browsers and NW.js using r258 x64 on Windows 7 Pro x64.

Tested using r258, Google Chrome 66, nw.js v0.30.0 on Windows 7 Pro x64
No works for me and works for me using r255 or r256, Google Chrome 66, nw.js v0.30.0 on Windows 7 Pro x64

All the projects I had after the r257 version even do not work well, either the plugin particles, bullet, etc.

Strange.

Any error messages in browser console?

No, in the debug layout, when player 1 touches player 2, the particle variable is triggered but it is not displayed on the screen.

I just made a clean installation of construct 2 r258 and it's still the same

Also works for me. Might be worth trying updating your graphics drivers.

A slight misunderstanding - I never meant debug mode.

Are any errors being reported by the browser itself?

I have updated the drivers and it seems that it works with the r258 version, but it is rare that it has to be updated by the google chrome. ;)

Thanks @Ashley and @zenox98
