I mean it works great when I run it through my xdk app on my android so i can test it wifi but after I build it and download the apk file to my phone and install it, I then have no control over my volume by using the volume buttons.

Hi, just sorted that sound issue. Basically, just uses the Beta build setting in Intel XDK: http://prntscr.com/32qdbl when building. It sorts out a BUNCH of bugs! .... but it exports an even larger APK file lol.
