** We're moving! Bug reports now on GitHub Issues **

Submit and view bugs reported in Construct 3 here.

The Bugs forums were only ever meant to be an interim measure. It turns out they work surprisingly well, but we still want to do better for Construct 3.

Please click here to visit the new bug report system:

Construct 3 bug reports on GitHub issues

As an experiment we are moving to GitHub and using their Issues system for bug reports. It's got much better features dedicated for bug reports, such as open/closed status, voting, assigning, searching/reports, and more.

You'll need to register a GitHub account to file issues. Please use the same username as you do on the forum if you register a new account. We've also revoked the ability to post new threads to this forum to encourage people to move across.

There is a bit of an awkward transition period: we still have ~60 bug reports in the forum. We'll continue to try to address these here, but it would be helpful if you can re-file any issues here on the new issues system so we can close the old report in the forum and help keep everything in one place. Eventually we hope to close this C3 Bugs forum entirely.

Please let me know if you run in to any trouble using GitHub issues - hopefully we can work anything out that comes up.

Good lord. Why is it so hard to report a bug? You are making me stop caring about bug reporting. So now, just to help you out, I have to go to Forums > Construct 3 > Bug Reporting > "We're moving! Bug reports now on GitHub Issues" > "Construct 3 bug reports on GitHub issues" > Scroll through a bunch of nonsense > Go to issues section > Oh now I have to make a new account? Ok, at this point, it is just getting ridiculous. I am trying to submit why your software crashed, not the codes required to get into Captain Blacks Pirate Treasures.

But man, look at all the emoji it supports: https://www.webpagefx.com/tools/emoji-cheat-sheet/

On the other hand, bug reporting to a forum is a bad idea.
It propagates driveby reports, and armchair speculations.
Not that I would ever do that.

You can always bookmark the page. It's also directly linked in the About dialog of C3 now.

We know it's an inconvenience having to sign up an extra account, but we're just too busy with launch details to arrange any kind of integration right now. Sorry. On the plus side, the new system is far better and way more organised for dealing with bugs and it's already making a big difference to us at Scirra.
