WebCL for Physic computation

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Post » Fri Apr 04, 2014 6:29 am

I'm wondering if there is any future possibility in using WebCL for physic computation in Construct 2?
I don't know nothing about technology or is it possible or not, but I see that there are some work already done in Chromium browser.
https://github.com/amd/Chromium-WebCL

Would it be possible for Construct 2 to support larger collision polygons using that technology?

Construct 2 is already amazing tool, and thank you for that!

Oh, neat, they've finished 1.0 of the spec! I was wondering the same thing - not just for physics, but could it be used for stuff like particles (http://youtu.be/uSgOzh2XpN8) and crowd simulations (http://youtu.be/pqBSNAOsMDc)?

Also, since collisions so often are a cause of slowdown, could they be sped up in this manner as well?
