WebGL Effect value

Get help using Construct 2

Hey, I was wondering. is there a way to get the WebGL effect value. As an example I'm working on making fades to/from full black and white.

I have it set up to compare a brightness value. Then realized I need to get the current Layout Brightness effect. However I found no variable or object to find out the current value.

I'm working on a work a round, but I would prefer getting the direct access.

Hmmm... C2 doesn't seem to have an option for that...

Perhaps if you link the brightness value to a variable and compare the variable instead..?

I guess that you probably figured that as a workaround already though

There is no way to access webgl effect values directly to my knowledge.
I had to track them with instance variables.
