What Coding to learn?

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Post » Sat Apr 12, 2014 11:31 pm

I know the basic set up of construct but I'm at the point where I need to learn coding. It seems that it would be best to learn JavaScript. Is this this case? Or is there another type of coding I should learn?

Thanks!

I recommend Javascript, HTML/CSS, and most important, PHP. A good knowledge of php coding can help you make custom leaderboards. Hope this helps!

I agree with the above. If you want to make apps/games that allow people to communicate with each other, it is extremely helpful to know a server-side language like PHP, together with MySQL for the database.

On the client side, you can't go wrong with the trio of HTML/CSS/javascript.
