What is the best tablet to do Construct on?

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Post » Sat Aug 20, 2016 4:25 am

So, I'd like to get a light weight portable tablet, that I can do Construct on. I also plan on using GIMP to create pixel art. I want something at a reasonable cost, but is flat enough to lug around and powerful enough to run the software. Maybe even hook up my Wacom tablet to it from time yo time. I was wondering if anyone had a good suggestion/review on one. Laptop is to big.
Thanks

Surface Pro for pen support if you plan on working on art with it. But if you have a Wacom already, any Windows tablet will do.

(There are some visual glitches with high DPI display on my Surface Pro 3 though)
Mistakes were made.

Tablet PC with Wacom tech is my vote. I use fujitsu lifebook t903 and love it. One word of advice too. Photoshop CS2 is free now from adobe. You might consider trying that too, but GIMP is good too. I am looking into a Cintiq companion @[email protected]

@Gillis actually CS2 is only given for free for those who purchased it in the past

@Aphrodite As I understand it, CS2 is free for everyone, but only for non-commercial use.

I will have to check in with Surface Pro pad and Fujitsu. Thanks. I also thought Adobe charged for photoshop, that's why I went with GIMP.
Thanks again.
