Go to gravatar.com, create an account using the same Email address you use for this forum, upload your avatar to their site, and Bob's your Auntie's friendliest neighbour. :)

Then, when this forum loads a thread, it will check gravatar.com for matching Email addresses and display them accordingly.

I've always been a huge advocate of gravatar.com (see a couple of posts back, lol)

Overall I'm quite fond of the new design. It's definitely a more professional appearance for Scirra and will help making Construct more popular in the long run.

However, I do agree with Krush on this bit:
The style and size of the font just looks amateurish, and I have to scroll out 2 levels in Firefox just to get the forum looking decent enough to read.
The font used for displaying post content is way too big in my opinion. I also actually zoom out when I'm trying to read stuff on the forum. Sounds like a minor hiccup, but it affects usability in a big way.

Another thing that isn't optimal: when you click on reply while you aren't logged in, you'll get an error message stating that you don't have the permission to post. Would be much better if it forwarded you to the login site, like it did before.

Oh, don't know if it has been discussed before, but it appears previewing a post doesn't work yet? I'm just getting a window with a "There is nothing to preview yet" message.

I think the color you used for the logo would look nice for a background.

I am largely indifferent to the design, although a slightly smaller font would help.

Otherwise, it's fine

Seconded. The site is very bright now, a darker shade for the background would be easier on the eyes in the long run.inkBot2011-06-28 22:36:28

Yeah, i still think that smaller font and darker background would be better. Or make an option for font and skin if there is such a possibility.

I really don't like the idea of skinning the site/forum, that's not going to happen.

The font size has been reduced now by the way over the forum (clear your cache if it hasn't worked).
