When image point is change sprite does not spawn

Problem Description
When only image point is altered the sprites stops spawning.

Description of Capx
Spawn bullet from tanks

Steps to Reproduce Bug
  • Step 1. Create sprite
  • Step 2. Add image point 1
  • Step 3. Add event that when space is pressed spawn another sprite.
  • Step 4.After running project once change image point 1
  • Step 3.run again

Observed Result
sprite is not spawned.

Expected Result
sprite should spawned.

  • FireFox: (YES)
  • Internet Explorer: (YES)

I think that in your working version you have the chosen image point of the tank outside the tanks collision polygon on your non working version the chosen image point is inside the polygon. Event 18 checks to see if there is a collision between the the tank and it's projectiles family and if so destroys the projectile. So the missile is being created and then instantly destroyed.

comment out event 18 in the non working version and see the result.

Closing, please follow the guidelines and provide a minimal example that proves it's a problem in Construct 2 and not a mistake in your events/project.
